VANCOUVER, WA - Lucy E. Linkemyer, 104, Vancouver, WA, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001 in Vancouver, WA.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vancouver.

Lucy was born Dec. 6,1897 in Roby, SD, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Wilmas) Hoffman. She worked at the Vancouver shipyards and the Del Monte cannery.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Gaylord, Vancouver, Janice Strohmeier, St. Paul, MN and Constance Linkemyer, Salt Lake City, UT; a son, Duane, Bremerton, WA; a brother, Henry Hoffman, Alta Vista; 19 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and four great greatgrandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Eugene; two daughters, Char-leen and Margaret and a son, Harold.
