CUSTER, SD -- Diane (Bean)-Kuper, 49, Custer, SD, formerly of New Hampton, died Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at her home.

A Mass of Burial will be 10:30 a. Wednesday, March 27 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Lawler with Rev. Marvin Salz presiding.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waucoma with Virgil Snyder, Joey Snyder, Bryan Kilcher, Donald Kilcher, Jimmy Schwickerath and Lyle Stolfus as pallbearers.

Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Custer.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Hugeback Funeral Home, Lawler where there will be a 7 p.m. Parish Scripture Service.

Diane was born on June 4, 1952 in New Hampton, the daughter of John and Dorothy (Buschman) Patton. On Sept. 1, 2000 she married Randy Kuper in Custer, SD where they have resided in their 'Trial and Error' cabin. Diane worked as a cook at Custer Youth Corrections Facility and the Lamont Center in Custer. She enjoyed traveling with her husband on their Goldwing, ily and friends, dancing, yard work, fishing, hiking, hot tubbing and her animals.

Survivors ‘include her husband, Randy; her parents, John and Dorothy Patton, Custer; one son, Billy Bean Jr., Cresco; two step-daughters, Corina Webb, Judsonia, AK and Comfort Doe, Lonsdale, MN and six grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was a son, Jeffery, in infancy, her grandparents, Virgil and Julie Buschman and an aunt and uncle, Wayne and Rosemary Thompson.
