NASHUA - Thelma V. (Wiebke) Kleinschmidt, 70, formerly, of Greene and Nashua, died Thursday, June 6, 2002 at Heritage Care Center, Mason City.

Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 10 at St. John's Lutheran Church/Western Douglas in rural Plainfield with Pastor Kim Thacker officiating.

Thelma Violet (Wiebke) Kleinschmidt was born March 22, 1932 in Butler County, rural Clarksville, the daughter of Paul and Clara (Spier) Webke. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1950 and worked for Lutheran Mutual Insurance Company, Waverly. She was united in marriage to Norman K. Kleinschmidt at St. John's Lutheran Church, Clarksville on Dec. 28, 1952.

Survivors include one daughter, Christa Ann (Ronald) Guthrie, Mason City; two sons, Robert (Vicki) Kleinschmidt, Holmen, WI and Richard (April) Kleinschmidt, Nashua; one sister, Eileen Jo (Lloyd) Korte, Cedar Falls; two sisters-in-law, Norma Noel and Gladys Beninga, both of Greene and seven grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, Norman, in 1994.

Memorials may be directed to the family or St. John's Lutheran Church/ Western Douglas in memory of Thelma V. Kleinschmidt.
