NEW HAMPTON - Mildred (Millie) L. Jungbluth, 81, New Hampton, died Friday, July 12, 2002 at her home following a brief illness.

Memorial Services were 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14 at Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hampton with Reverend Bergstrom officiating.

Inurnment will be held a t a later date in Elm Grove Cemetery, Washington.

Visitation was after 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14.

Millie was born Aug. 15, 1921, the daughter of Vera (Andersen) and Arthur Anderson. She married Carl Jungbluth on Sept. 4, 1943. She received her training as a Registered Nurse at Iowa Methodist Hospital, Des Moines. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Washington County Hospital and also provided private duty nursing in New Hampton. Millie loved knitting, traveling and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one daughter, Christine (Jerry) Popenhagen, Middleton, WI; one son, Carl (Ronda) Jungbluth, New Hampton; four grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Anderson, Texas and Marilyn Lukins, Hoodsport, WA and two brothers. Bill and Ed Anderson, Riverside, CA.

Preceding her in death were four brothers, Charles, Bob, Harry and Richard Anderson and three sisters, Nell Wenger, Ruth Pratt and Frances Detweiler.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of North Iowa, 1003 Gilbert St., Charles City,IA 50616.
