WAVERLY - Mary I. Henniges,94, formerly of Waverly, died July 4, 2002 in Circleville, OH.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at Chenoweth and Son Funeral Home, Nashua with Pastor Linda Myren officiating.

Interment will be private at Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mary was born Aug. 24, 1907 in Bremer County to Ed and Minnie (Briggs) Zwanziger. She graduated from Gates Business College, Waterloo and worked as a secretary at the State Hospital in Independence. She married Raymond Henniges and was a life-long homemaker. She taught Sunday School.

Survivors include two daughters, Ramona (James) Edman, Circleville, OH and Marilyn Cotton, Fountain Hills,. AZ; two sisters, Nellie Oberheu, Plainfield and Nettie Dietz, Nashua; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, , many nieces and nephews and special nieces, Jeanette Schluter and Norma Biekert, both of Nashua.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Raymond; a sister, Ruth Hansen and a brother, Edward Zwanziger.
