Grubb, Vincent M. 1907 - 2002

Vincent M. Grubb, a resident of Rogers, Ark., and formerly of LeClaire, Iowa was bom in Barnes City, Iowa. He was united in marriage to Wilma Holland in What Cheer, Iowa on September 26, 2996.

Vincent was employed as a millwright at the Alcoa Company, Riverdale Works, retiring in 1971 after 17 years of service.

He was a 50-year member of Snow Lodge #44, A.F. & A.M. of LeClaire and a member of the Brightwater United Methodist Church of Rogers, Ark. He was an accomplished woodworker and loved to go fishing.

On Sunday morning at the age of 95 years, 6 months and 11 days, he passed away at his home.

Those left to honor his memory include his daughters and sons-in-law, Rheta and Elmer Van Doren of Garfield, Ark. and Jo Ann and Olan Shadrick of Granger, Missouri; his sons and daughter-in-law, Robert Grubb of LeClaire and John and Joan Grubb of Frazier Park, Cal.; 12 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Letha Spencer of Rochester, Minn., Maxine Klassen of Adams, Minn., Mildred Eastman of Riceville, Iowa and Sally Leland of Bricelyn, Minn.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sons, James Edward Grubb and Vincent M. Grubb Jr.; his sister, Verda Errington; and his mother, Zephra Grubb Sproul.
