NASHUA - Harry L. Greene, 91, Nashua, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002 at 11th Street Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City of natural causes.

Funeral Services were 1 p..m. Thursday, Feb. 21 at St. John Lutheran Church, Nashua.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Nashua.

Visitation was from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 at Chenoweth & Son Funeral Home and also one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.

Harry was born Nov. 11, 1910 in Clinton, the son of Frank and Lena (Nieman) Greene. He attended school in Canada. He married Clara Etter on Aug. 15,1931 and later married Ella Lalk on May 25, 1941 in Springfield, MO. He owned and operated Greene's Sinclair Station in Nashua for 25 years, retiring in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Ella; two sons, Lawrence (Sonja) Greene, Scottsdale, AZ and Donald (Myrna) Greene, Sun Lakes, AZ; three grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, Clara; a daughter, Darlene; two sisters, Myrtle Isley and Grace Bean and two brothers, Rev. Elmer Greene and a brother in infancy.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
