NEW HAMPTON - Margaret E. Bartz, 95, New Hampton, died Friday, June 21, 2002 at Sunrise Guest Home, Fredericksburg, of natural causes.

Funeral Services are 3 p.m. Tuesday; June 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church -Fireside Chapel, New Hampton with Rev. David Bergstrom and Rev. Kevin Frey officiating. Pianist for the service will be Edith Kolthoff leading the congregation singing “How Great Thou Art", "Beautiful Savior" and "Amazing Grace".

Interment will be in New Hampton Cemetery with nieces and nephews as pallbearers. Visitation will be an hour prior to the funeral in the Fireside Chapel -Trinity Lutheran Church.

Hugeback Funeral Home, New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

Margaret was born Dec. 19, 1908 in Dayton Township, rurai Chickasaw County, the daughter of Gottlieb and Bertha (Gall) Bartz. She attended rural country schools.During her life, Margaret made her home with her sister Pauline Hackman until moving to the Heritage Residence. She became a resident of the Sunrise Guest Home in Fredericksburg in 1998.

Survivors    include several nieces and nephews including    Madonna    Wood, Sumner;    Fred    Bartz, Fredericksburg;    Helen Wegner, Centerville; Glen Bartz, Oregon and Merle Bartz, Colorado.

Preceding her in death were her parents; three brother, Julius, Frederick and Walter Bartz and five sisters, Pauline Hackman, Marie Ean, Alvina Gardiner, Clara Flath and Augusta Guhl.
