STIRM, Normadel nee ROOSA 1915 - 2001

WAUCOMA -- Normadel daughter of Frank and Emma Stirm, 85, Cedar Falls, died' Saturday, May 5, 2001 at the Cedar Falls Western Home of natural causes.

The family received friends on Friday, May 11 from 4-5 p„m. at the Community of Christ Church, formerly the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cedar Falls.

Memorial services were held at 5 p.m. with Tom Lizer officiating. Music selections were "Blest be the Tie that Binds", "O Lord, My God" and "There's an Old, Old Path". Josh Lizer was pianist and Julie Parrott was vocalist.

Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Waterloo on May 26.

Normadel Stirm was born May 16, 1915 in Waterloo, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Hain) Roosa. She married Russell Herbert Stirm on May 26,1934.

Surviving are a son, Russell E., Waterloo; four daughters, Sharon Landa, Waucoma, Charlotte Jensen and Della Webbeking, both of Waterloo and Dolores Lawless, Marion; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Russell on Dec. 31, 1968; two bothers, Lyman and Leland Roosa; two sisters, Alice Cook and Bessie Boswell.

Parrott and Wood Family Funeral Care, Waterloo, was in charge of arrangements.
