The Howard-Winneshiek Genealogical Society Welcomes You!
Our purpose is to promote genealogy, to encourage genealogical research,
inform the public about genealogy, to help our members and others to research their past,
and to preserve local resources for use in genealogy, history,
and community research for years to come.
The Society houses its resources (see resources section for specific resources) in the Southwest Corner
of the main floor of the Cresco Public Library. The library is handicapped accessible.
There is a reader/scanner/computer to view microfilm. Copies from it are free; you can bring your memory stick with USB connection and copy your material;
or you can e-mail your material to your electronic devices.
