Tea Time at the Governor's Mansion.
     
  Mrs. A. L. MENSING of Lowden, past president of the Iowa Legislative Ladies League and wife of the Representative from Cedar County, serves Mrs. Harold HUGHES (right), wife of Iowa's governor, at the league's first reception and tea of the season Thursday at the Governor's Mansion. Others waiting to be served are (from left), Mrs. X. T. PRENTIS of Mount Ayr, wife of the chairman of the Iowa Tax Commission; Mrs. George PAUL of Brooklyn, immediate past president of the league and wife of the Representative from Poweshiek County; and Mrs. Quentin V. ANDERSON of Beaconsfield, whose husband is Ringgold County Representative. circa 1950's
