J. W. HENDERSON

J. W. HENDERSON, was born in Ohio in February, 1817, and is the son of James and Mary (WHITE) HENDERSON, who came to Greene County, Ill., in 1818. Our subject embarked in life for himself in March, 1842, he being married at that time to Miss Elizabeth M. PETERS, by whom twelve children were born, There has never been a death under his roof although two daughters have died since growing to womanhood, away from home. Our subject at an early day was a great hunter and noted for his good marksmanship.
