Promoted Seventh Corporal March 1, 1862; Fourth Corporal July 1, 1862; Fifth Sergeant Dec. 1, 1862; Fourth Sergeant Jan. 15, 1863; Third Sergeant June 5, 1863; First Sergeant Oct. 10, 1863. Re-enlisted and re-mustered Jan. 26, 1864. Wounded slightly in wrist June 27, 1864, Kenesaw Mountain, Georgia. Promoted First Lieutenant Dec. 20, 1864. Mustered out July 21, 1865, Louisville, Ky.

Imnan [sp.], Timothy. Age 26. Residence Centerville, nativity Ohio. Enlisted March 24, 1862. Mustered May 13, 1862. Died Jan. 11, 1863. Buried in Mississippi River National Cemetery, Memphis, Tenn. Classed with the unknown dead.

Iseminger, Daniel. Age 47. Residence Chariton, nativity Ohio. Appointed Captain May 3, 1861. Mustered July 17, 1861. Killed in action April 6, 1863, Shiloh, Tenn.

Company "D"

Ireland, John R.  Age 20.  Residence Cincinnati, nativity Ohio.   Enlisted June 25, 1861.  Mustered July 17, 1861.  Died of typhoid fever Oct. 29, 1861, Jefferson City, Mo.  Buried in National Cemetery, Jefferson City, Mo.   Section 1, grave 8.

Isett, John H.  Age 27.  Residence Wapello, nativity Pennsylvania.  Enlisted July 12, 1861, as Third Sergeant.  Mustered July 18, 1861.  Promoted Second Sergeant July 22, 1861; Quartermaster Sergeant Oct. 1, 1861; Second Lieutenant of company K Feb. 5, 1862.

Company "K"

Isett, John H.  Age 27.  Residence Wapello, nativity Pennsylvania.  Appointed Second Lieutenant Feb. 5, 1862.  Resigned Oct. 23, 1862, Memphis, Tenn.  See company I.  See Field and Staff, Eighth Cavalry.
