There are four church organizations as follows: Congregational, Methodist Episcopal, German Methodist, and German Lutheran.
The Congregational Society was organized in 1866 and the present eddifice was erected in that year. The first regular pastor was Rev. H.A. Thomas. Present pastor Rev. C.N. Lyman, number of members 129.
The Metodist Episcopal church was organized in 1867. First regular pastor, Rev. B. Halcomb. In 1868 Rev., Thos. Hamilton was pastor. The rpesent church edifice was erected in 1871, when Rev. J. H. Todd was pastor. Present pastor, Rev. W.H. Montgomery, number of member 120.
The German Methodist Society was organized in 1870 by Rev John Spiker. Present pastor, Rev. Phillip Schaub, number of members 24.
The German Lutheran Society was organized in 1881 and the present church edifice was erected in that year. The present pastor is Frederick Eggers, number of members 26.
