This
is a record of the Community Church of Kamrar Cemetery.
The Community Church was formed in October 1980, when members of the
Presbyterian Church (in Liberty Township) separated over church doctrine
issues. After several years of
meeting in local Kamrar businesses, the Community Church of Kamrar was built
in 1986 in its current location. The
first service in the new church was Easter Sunday 1986.
The
Community Church of Kamrar is located on Hwy D-41 southeast of Kamrar, Iowa in
Independence Township. The
cemetery was established in 1989 and is located west of the church parking
lot.
The
cemetery was walked and photographed June 2010 by Jackie Frederick.
