Volunteers who have access to materials, you otherwise might not be able to access because of location. They provide a valuable service by reviewing or searching for information about persons/families being researched by others from their personal book collection or sources not online.

Please remember to show your appreciation by saying Thank You!

Please follow these guidelines when requesting a lookup:

• Limit your request to 1 or 2 specific names -- a request such as "anything you have about the SMITH family" will be ignored or rejected.
  
• Provide as much appropriate information as you know -- names, dates, places, relationships.
  
• Be patient, these people are volunteers and may not always be able to respond to your request immediately. And, please, don't forget to thank the volunteer for their time and effort.
  
  
• If you don't receive any response from the volunteer within 4-5 days, please notify the County Coordinator so we can check that the volunteer is still active and the contact info is current.
