Looking for death certificate to learn their parentage. I found their grave sites in
Eldora last summer but didn't have time to go to Grundy Center to check records at the

Looking for any information on the SIEH family that lived in Grundy County, Iowa in the
1870s to the 1900s. One of the towns mentioned was Reinbeck, Iowa. Some of the brothers
names that came over from Treia, Schleswig- Holstein Germany are Hans, Emil, Ferdinand,
Adolf, Hinrick,Peter and Claus my second great grandfather. I think that in the early days
that a couple of the bothers had a butcher shop. Any information will be appreciated.

BETSY LORD remarried to T. G. HOXIE. BETSY died Feb. 1, 1885 in GRUNDY CENTER, IA. There
is a note on the old paper which says T.G. HOXIE was the 1st Sheriff of Grundy. BETSY LORD

in the 1880 census from Pleasant Valley Ia: the family of MIKE EBERLEIN - from Prussia,
children LEWIS, HANNAH, and GEORGE -born in Illinois. the family of WILLIAM EBERLEIN, his
brothers CHARLES AND FRED and a sister MINNIE - also born in Illinois. Also any references
to Eberleins from 1874 to 1890. My Grandfather Andrew Eberlein and his wife Barbara lived

My Great-grandfather Andrew (or Andres) Eberlein and his wife Mary
Barbara Bower or Bauer are buried in Wellsburg, Iowa. He died there May 1, 1887,
she died in 1924 in Luverne, Mn but was buried in Wellsburg. The 1880 census puts them in
Pleasant Valley Township (cannot find this town on the map) My question is: Would this be
a church graveyard or county one. (I am looking for some kind of church records) also,
there is no newspaper for Wellsburg or Pleasant Valley township in the 1880's that I could

East Canada. He married Mary Ann O'Connor who was born Oct 1852 in WI. They had Lewis,
June 1873; John, July 1875; Edward, July 1877; William, Oct 1879 and my grandmother Mary
Ann, March 10, 1885. All the children were born in Momson, Grundy, IA. They moved
to Ottosen, Humbolt, IA. in 1890 and he died in Rolfe, IA. Dec 22, 1894. I believe some of

Valentine SPAWR spent the winter of 1858-59 in the Cedar Falls
area of Black Hawk County. His wife, Irene, and baby daughter might have been with them.
He had come from Illinois looking for land to settle. He moved to Kansas in 1859. He may
have been with Peter and Elizabeth SPAWR, his parents. They settled in Butler County.

Researching CRAWFORD family. Oliver CRAWFORD (b 1818) lived in
Grundy Co in the 1880's. His wife, Mary Ann (b 1817), died 30 Dec 1886 and is buried in
Conrad Grove. Oliver and Mary Ann married 27 Feb 1838 in Putnam Co, IN. Oliver died in
Hardin Co, IA 2 Sep 1899 and is buried in Conrad Grove. I'm specifically looking for a
death record, obit and perhaps a grave marker for Mary Ann. I've checked the County Death
Register and it is missing. Perhaps she died in a nearby county. I need to locate her
place of birth and day of birth in Delaware. I'd also like info on Oliver's grave marker

Looking for ROBBINS family of Grundy Center area who were related to FRAZEE. My relative
was a Maggie FRAZEE born about 1879 who married a Joseph Enoch ROBBINS born about 1864.
They are connecfed to the AVERY, FRAZEE, CLARK, DAVIDSON line of the Black Hawk and Grundy
Center area. Maggie FRAZEE had a sister Tressie (Minnie Caressa) FRAZEE who married a
DAVIDSON who was a sheriff in Grundy. Tressie was a jailor in Grundy for many years.

I am trying to find the place where my g-g-grandmother is buried. Her name was Joanna
-Josie- (Lefever) FALOR. She was b. 1849, Ohio. She died about 1887 of diphtheria. She was
listed as living with her husband and children in Grundy County, Beaver township. I am
told there might be two young daughters that died at the same time. I would sincerely

WILDER, Ransom W. and his wife Hanna moved to Eldora, Grundy County, IA in 1860, 1861 or
1862. Their youngest son, my great grandfather, Joseph O. WILDER may have been born in
Eldora while they lived there. I am interested in receiving any information that may be
available obut this family. There was a total of 12 children in the family. The other
children were: Ellen, Harriet, Mary Jane, Phidelia, Clarissa, Lafayette, Sarah,
Wellington, Franklin, Jeremiah, and Albert. Joseph O. is thought to have been born about

Hugh Wells parents were John Wells (b. 1793 West Moreland Co Penn, d. June 1872 Mossville
Ill) and Hester Mitchell(b. 13 June 1796 Penn, d. 15 Sept 1875 Beaman Iowa) I have
extensive info on descendants of Ruth Wells Bundy. I have a lot of info already, including
many unidentified pictures (and some that are identified). As you can see there is a
connection to the MONEY family as two of the sisters apparently married men who were
brothers or cousins. In my info, I also have some items about Clyde MONEY and Oliver H.
MONEY. There is a small town near by named Wellsburg. I wonder what, if any, connection

ago. According to the information I have Philip Wick became a citizen of the US in Grundy
County 10 Sep 1873. He was married to Minnie ROTTMEYER and had four chldren -
Philip, Henry, William and Sarah. Henry was married to Bertha MOBERLY and had at least one

My name is Dennis Conrad born 19/12/34, son of Sidney Conrad born 12/10/1909, son of Jake
