Old Settlers Reunions

In the late 1800s, Old Settlers Reunions were held each year in Greene County. At one of those reunions, those attending gave the following information about the "old Greene County settler in their family re: date/place of birth, names of parents, etc. That "Old Settlers' Book" has survived and the original is in the Greene County Historical Society Museum.  The reason the original has remained at the museum is that the information only filled a few pages of a very large ledger.  Dr. H. B. Donovan, first curator of the museum, chose to use the remainder of the pages to list acquisitions.
