 Peter Jospeh Casey was the eldest son of Patrick and Bridget McManus Casey, b.12 Mar 1852, New York; d. 4 Jan 1926, Polk County, Iowa.
Mary Connelly was b. Jun 1857, New York; d. 16 Sep 1941, West Des Moines, Iowa. She and Peter Joseph Casey were married 3 Feb 1880, Greene County, Iowa; no doubt by Fr. Michael J. Quirk, St. Brigid's Church, Grand Junction.

 

 
Mary Jane Casey was the second oldest child, and only daughter, of Patrick and Bridget McManus Casey.  She was b. Sep 1854 Illinois and d. 17 Dec 1934, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon.
 
Patrick Augustus 'Gus' Casey was the youngest child of Patrick and Bridget McManus Casey.  He was born 28 Feb 1858, Meriden, Earl Township, LaSalle County, Illinois; d. 7 Jan 1942 Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
 
These photos are both tintypes in the 1/6 plate format that was popular at the time.

This is an early photo of Patrick Augustus 'Gus' and Mary Quirk Casey with son Francis 'Frank' Edward.  It was taken at a time when the Gus Casey family lived in Grand Junction, Greene County, Iowa.
 
Gus and Mary were married 23 Sep 1884, Delaware County, Iowa.  They were married by Fr. Michael J. Quirk, pastor St. Brigid's Church, Grand Junction, Iowa 1879-1887.   Mary Quirk Casey was Fr. Quirk's sister and housekeeper. The Casey's lived very near the rectory and were members of St. Brigid's Church.
 
Gus was b. 18 Feb 1858, Meriden, Earl Township, LaSalle County, Illinois; d. 7 Jan 1942, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
 
Mary was b. 25 Feb 1853, South Fork Township, Delaware County, Iowa; d. 20 Jan 1935, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
 
Francis Edward 'Frank' was b. Jul 1885, Grand Junction, Greene County, Iowa; d. 1938, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
 

 
Mary Genevieve Quirk Casey was b. 25 Feb 1853, South Fork Township, Delaware County, Iowa; d. 20 Jan 1935, Mason City, Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.  This photo was taken when she lived in Grand Junction, Greene County, Iowa.
