~1896 Plat Book~

1896 plat books are a helpful tool, covering the years between the 1880 census and the 1900 census time frames. Lots of movement of families or person moving where the grass is greener.  Prices are cheap and lots of land for sale. These indexes were abstracted from the Township plat books that are available on www.ancestry.com.
