Killed at Argonne, October 16, 1918. I Son of Mrs. Jennie Nordman, Duluth, Minnesota.
Private Nordman was killed during the taking of Tuiliere Farm. He was a member of the
Automatic Squad, which held its post under very heavy machine gun fire.

Killed October 16, 1918 at Cote de Chatillon. Private Hawley came to the company in
April, 1918, and served throughout the Lorraine campaign, Battle of Champagne,
Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel and was killed in the last battle of the war. He was known as
an excellent soldier and gained a high reputation for character and honor. Relative's
