Hero Brother Laid to Rest - Iowa City woman mourns.
Lester Perrego, a brave soldier of the world war, who won the gold cross, and made the supreme sacrifice has been laid to rest at Cedar Rapids, where the military funeral was held yesterday. The I.N.G. unit fired a salute over the hero's grave. His sister, Mrs. Albert Schrimper, of Iowa City, Isaac Perrego, of Farley; and Albert of Elizabeth, Ill., are brothers of the defender of the flag. A sister, Mrs. Bert Lish, of Elizabeth, Ill. and his sister here, are the other close relatives. His parents are dead. Owing to her own illness, Mrs. Schrimper did not attend the funeral last sad rites.
