James Norman Hall of Colfax, American's ace in the great war who vanished into the wilds of the South sea islands a year ago, has written the first story of his new adventure for Harper's Magazine. The story will appear in the October number. Hall, with his companion, Charles Nordhoff, who performed distinguished services under the British, American and French flags in the war, left the states over a year ago for the islands. No one has heard of the two adventurers until recently, when they came close enough to
civilization to send back an account of their wanderings.
