A cabled message has been received announcing the safe arrival of some of the units of the 88th Division in France recently at Camp Dodge . Among the units was the 349th Infantry, in which were several Big-4 boys, among them John Wesack, Edw. Grimes, Gus Mueller, Will Krumm and Henry Wedemeyer

Floyd Shroyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. K. Shroyer living north of Adair, went to Des Moines Wednesday and enlisted.

Among the boys from Adair who were in the 88th Division and left Camp Dodge recently were the following that we have heard of: First Lieut. Harry D. Byers, Sgt. Chris Brandt, Sgt. Claire Brownlee, Matt McDonald, Ralph N. Lynch, Henry Sherman, Edw. Grimes, John Wesack, Henry Wedemeyer, Aylor Nelson, Robert Grant, Joe Grant, Bert Gustin, Gus Mueller, Wm McCarthy Calvin Benne, LeRoy Overmyer, Will Krumm, Lewis Carney, Carl Fraser, Peter Petersen, Truels Davidson, Leon Sparling, George F. Hickey, Charles Rochholz and some otherw whom we are not certain have gone.
