DISCHARGE FROM DRAFT.

 

TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

 

       This is to Certify, That   Earl F. Shaw  (3009753) is hereby DISCHARGED from the military service of the UNITED STATE by reason of Tuberculosis pulmonary, chronic, inactive.

 

  Said Earl F. Shaw was inducted into the service from the jurisdiction of the *Local Board for Elkader, State of Iowa, on the 29th day of July, 1918 obligation to serve in the Army, it does not operate as a permanent bar to his subsequent entrance into the military service. Under section 5 of the Act of May 18, 1917, that Act provided. Therefore, this discharge does not excuse the holder from obedience to the process of Exemption Boards.

         

                               Given at Camp Forrest, Ga., this 8th day of Aug. 1918.
