This is to certify, That Earl O. Hansel,  3rd, Cl., Mus. of Hdqtrs Co., of the first Regiment of Infantry Iowa National Guard, is hereby Honorably discharged from the National Guard of the United States and the State of Iowa by reason of Surgeon's Certificate of Disqualification, Disability per 4th Ind. C. D. Apr 24/17 in Physical Examination.

 

          Said Earl O. Hansel was born in Edgewood, in the State of Iowa, and when enlisted was 20 years of age, by occupation a Butcher had Brown hair light complexion, and was 5 feet 6 1/2 inches in height.

 

                              Given under my hand at Fort Des Moines, Iowa this 27th day of April, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
