Norma Jeanne Conners
was born December 5, 1921 at Percival, Iowa to Alva "Rex"
Darst and Estyna "Tiny" Darst. She passed away March 11, 2005 in
Dallas, Texas at age 83.
Jeanne
graduated from Sidney High School class of 1939. She was a loving
wife, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was and will forever be
in our hearts.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her
husband, Vince "Pete" Conners; son Jerry and wife Linda; daughter
Marie and husband Andy; son Tom; grandchildren, Michelle, Michael,
Christi Ann, Christopher, Patrick, Seth, and Monica; eight
great-grandchildren; sister Rosemary Waterworth; numerous nieces and
nephews, as well as a host of friends.
A memorial
funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. St.
Patrick's Catholic Church in Imogene, Iowa. Words of comfort were
given by Rev. Kenneth Gross. Lector was Brad Lemkau. The eulogy was
given by Jeff Moyer.
Attending the memory register
were Becky Shull and Louise Leonard. Ushers were Brad Lemkau and Kim
Hughes. Soloist was Susie Schaaf and organist was Marcella Heaton.
Special music was "Amazing
Grace" and "Ave Maria". Alterservers Jeanne and Jody Shough.
Interment was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Imogene, Iowa.
