The following list was transcribed from the third volume of "Pensioners on the Roll - January 1, 1883", published by the Government Printing Office, 1883, pages 702 and 703.
The description is: Giving the Name of each Pensioner, The Cause for which Pensioned, The Post-Office Address, The Rate of Pension Per Month, and the Date of the Original Allowance, as called for by Senate Resolution of December 8, 1882."
Transcribed by Thomas C. Hodge - May 2011. The pensioners are generally Civil War veterans (or their widows) listed alphabetically by location. I've added a column to better describe the 'Cause" in more modern language, where available or to clarify the Cause.
