Fremont County, Iowa The photo is of the depot at Imogene. When depots burned or were dismantled, they were often replaced with half-boxcar depots, sheds or small structures like this. They were nothing more than tool sheds. Often they were large enough to house section motor cars. Motor cars were small gas-powered cars that could pull a trailer hauling railroad ties, if needed.
