Lena was born in Riverton to James Harvey Cowles and Martha Elizabeth Chaney. She married Orland Leroy Story around 1915. They moved to Laramie, Wyoming around 1930 where she stayed until her death in 1974. Lena and Orland had 6 children; Jimmy, Marjorie, John, Joyce, Bonnie and Josephine. They made frequent visits back to Riverton to visit her sister Rose Cowles Smith. (my great grandma)- Jen.
