WEDDING RECEPTION

The most charming social event of the season was the reception tendered Mr. and Mrs. Reich A. Findley at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hennings.

In response to invitations 75 guests assembled at the Jennings’ home at 7 o’clock Friday evening, January 1, 1909. Excellent music was furnished by Elmer Green on the mandolin and Mrs. Walter Brooks at the organ, also singing by Misses Millers.

The house was handsomely decorated throughout in pink and white. The table was decorated in smilax, pink and white carnations with pink and white ice cream and pink and white cake.

The bride and groom, assisted by Miss Mary Green, received under an arch pf pink and white with white wedding bells. Miss Joe Reich presided at the punch bowl, Mrs. Etta Rice, Mrs. Grace Wood and Mrs. Clara Green assisting. At midnight the crowd broke up and went home heartily expressing their appreciation to their host and hostess for the merry time afforded all and wishing Mr. and Mrs. Findley a long and happy life together.
