Lambert-Wadhams Cemetery
Benton Township
(Section 25, Twp. 69, Range 44)

The Lambert-Wadhams Family Cemetery is near the old Lambert farmhouse. The cholera epidemic in 1851, swept the community of Civil Bend. This results in many deaths. Due to the fear of spreading many victims were buried on their own property. This burial site was mostly used for burials of the Lambert family, that died in the Cholera epidemia.

The WPA project referred to this as the Wadhams Cemetery. Gravestones are no longer found. A few of the known burials are:

Lambert, William - died 1851
Lambert, Mrs. William - died 1851
Clark, Henry - died 1851
