Information furnished by Raymond Zanker and WPA files

S. B. Frost was the original land grant owner of the land and must have sold it and moved away after his wife died. This farm is located four and one-half miles north of Hamburg.

The one stone was later brought to the Fremont County Historical Society where it is now housed. Raymond Zanker has done a beautiful job repairing this stone for the museum.
