Mrs. Thomas Brannon
Hampton ~ Mrs. Thomas Brannon of West Fork township. walked seventeen mile to this city Wednesday for the purpose of filing information against her husband on the grounds of his being insane. She says that he has treated her very badly and this must evidently be the truth if she would tramp that distance to have him locked up. However, after she arrived here and was informed by the officials that she would be required to sign an information, Mrs. Brannon refused and returned to the farm. Thos. Brannon was sent to the insane hospital from this county in 1899 but was soon sent home again. He is a farmer living in West Fork township and is quite well known in the northern part of the county.
