On 10 Nov 2001 I visited the Cemetery and confirmed the cremation and was told 
there was no record of the disposition of the ashes.


Notes (Marriage)

The Marriage License issued by the State of Missouri, County of Lewis states 
"This License authorizes any Judge, Justice of the Peace, Licensed or Ordained 
Preacher of the Gospel or any other person authorized under the Laws of this 
State, to Solemnize Marriage Between L. D. McIntosh of Cameron County of 
Clinton and State of Missouri, who is over the age of twenty-one; and Louisa J. 
Lynch of Cameron in the County of Clinton and State of Missouri, who is over 
the age of eighteen years."  The document is "Witness my had as Circuit Clerk 
and Ex-Officio Recorder, with the seal of office hereto affixed, at my office 
in Monticello, Mo. this 15th day of May, 1885."  It is signed by James N. 
Miller and By Deputy O. E. Brown.

What follows is the certification which reads "State of Missouri, County of 
Lewis....This is to certify that the undersigned Minister of the M. E. Church 
South did, at The Court House in said County, on the 15th day of May, A. D. 
1886 unite in Marriage the above named persons."  It is signed by J. A. 
Wailes.

The certificate was filed the same day at 2 o'clock P. M.
