From the Dubuque Telegraph Herald of 9 September 1918, page 9, column 5.
The funeral of Evelyn Estelle Shireman, the four-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva 
Shireman of 907 Thirteenth street, who passed away Sunday afternoon, was held from the family 
residence to St. Mary's church, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Interment was made in Mt. 
Calvary cemetery.
