The Spirit Lake Public Library is doing a tremendous job and service by hosting a cemetery transcription project. These recordings include contemporary as well as pioneer burials.
You can very quickly search their site using Google. Their site contains hundreds of names. Follow these steps:
1] Click Here To Get Google Web Site Search.
2] Insert the surname you are searching into the box entitled - "all these words:"
3] Copy and insert this statement - http://www.spiritlakepubliclibrary.org/ into the Google box entitled - "Search within a site or domain:"
4] Click on the "Advanced Search" box to get your search results.
