Antoinette "Ann" Mildred Olson,
83, of rural Carman, Ill., died at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at
Burlington Medical Center Klein Unit. Born Oct. 6, 1915, in rural Burlington,
she was the daughter of Antion and Elizabeth Englehorn Poisel. On June 11, 1941,
she married Carl Olson in
Kahoka, Mo. Mrs. Olson worked
for the Iowa soap factory and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United
Methodist Church. She was an election poll worker in Henderson County and was
active in Henderson County blood drives and bloodmobile. Survivors include her
husband; two sons, Randall Olson of
Huber Heights, Ohio, and James Olson of
Carman; one daughter, Sandra Kissinger of Iowa City; nine grandchildren; four
great-grandchildren; one sister, Marie Hellwig of Woodruff, Wis.; nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Visitation
will begin after 8 a.m. Tuesday in Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive
friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Olson will
be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. David Rogula
officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been
established for the Henderson County Health Department.
