Mrs. W. Brookhiser
Mrs. Wilhelmina Henriette Brookhiser, 1106 N. 8th St., died at 6 p. m. Thursday, after an extended Illness. She was born in Nassau, Germany, July 9, 1864 the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Dietz. She came to this country 63 years ago, and had been a resident of Des Moines County since that time.
She was united in marriage to William Brookhiser in Burlington on Sept. 11, 1883. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are her husband, 6 children, Frank A. Brookhiser of Cedar Rapids, William Brookhiser Jr., Wever; Mrs. Fred Hartman, Mrs. William Wilson and Mrs. Lawrence Vahle of Burlington; Mrs. Grover Wilson of Yarmouth; 24 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. Three children are dead.
Funeral Services will be held in Prugh’s chapel, Sunday at 3:30 p. m. Dr. R. R. Belter will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

EMERY P. CRENSHAW, 77, RETIRED FARMER LIVING IN STOCKPORT, DIED THURSDAY NIGHT AT BURLINGTON HOSPITAL AFTER A SERIOUS ILLNESS OF 2 MONTHS. HE WAS A LIFE RESIDENT OF STOCKPORT VICINITY.
SURVIVING ARE HIS WIFE, THE FORMER ELIZABETH HALL, ONE DAUGHTER, MRS. VEDA BROWN, STOCKPORT, AND 2 SONS, HAROLD OF STOCKPORT, AND IVAN OF DOUDS, AND 8 GRANDCHILDREN. Two sons, 2 brothers and 2 sisters are dead.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD SUNDAY AT 1 p. m., AT THE STOCKPORT METHODIST CHURCH. BURIAL WILL BE IN MT. ZION CEMETERY NORTH OF STOCKPORT. THE BODY IS AT THE BEHNAR FUNERAL HOME IN FAIRFIELD.

CHARLES WILLIAM FISHER, 904 OAK STREET, DIED AT HIS HOME AT 10:45 a. m. FRIDAY MORNING AFTER A BRIEF ILLNESS. HE WAS BORN IN CINCINNATI, O…DEC. (1?)9, 1854, AND HAS BEEN A RESIDENT OF BURLINGTON FOR 65 YEARS. HE WAS MARRIED IN BURLINGTON IN 1881 TO JULIA FENSKE. FOR MANY YEARS HE WAS WELL KNOWN AS A [PIANO TUINER, BUT RETIRED SOME YEARS AGO.
SURVIVING ARE HIS WIFE AND 6 CHILDREN, RICHARD, MRS. ARTHUR LEHMAN, HARRY, OSCAR AND MRS. WILLIAM MOORE OF BURLINGTON, AND WILLIAM FISHER OF TIGARD, ORE,: 9 GRANDCHILDREN, 4 GREAT- GRANDCHILDREN, ANND SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS. TWO CHILDREN PRECEDED HIM IN DEATH. THREE GRANDSONS ARE IN SERVICE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT A TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED LSATER. THE BODY IS AT PRUGH’S CHAPEL.
