Route of Leif Erickson and Eric The Red

We learned in school about Eric The Red and Leif Erickson, how they found Iceland and Greenland, and in a later voyage set foot on our continent at at a place called by Eric, "Vineland". But we have often wondered if there was a more complete story, like possible routes taken by the Vikings, have they navigated across broad expanses of ocean.

NOTE:

Don, I am not sure how this would work but it does show you where Newfoundland is in relation to Vineyard. Still wonder about the grapes, don't you?

I also found an interesting story that was in my Viking magazine for you . In an issue many moons ago. Anyhow if you can let me know and I will bang it in. Have the Bay article and Ole Bull ready to go. Hurt my knee real bad in a fall so get in a lot of trouble at the PC, Luvs Norma.
