Talbert Family Cemetery has been designated a Pioneer Cemetery by the Des Moines County Pioneer Cemetery Commission.

Talbert Family Cemetery is in Concordia Township. Go about 200 yards down a private drive at 4586 Sullivan Slough Rd. until you come to an abandoned road which goes south. Walk down the old road about 50 yards and the plot is about 10 yards to the east.

There used to be another tall stone which didn't have anything written on it. This is now gone (1974). This stone was thought to be for Wm., husband of Mary.
