RENNER FARM PLOT
Copied October 1974 by Des Moines County Genealogical Society
Steve Stoller and Herb Price visited the Renner Farm Plot June 7, 2012. The land owner told them then stones originally were standing behind one of the out buildings, perhaps 100 yards directly east of their current location. There are now cattle grazing on the original burial site. He said one family buried there was named Mathis. They lost seven children to death in childhood. The Mathis family may have been the original settlers on the land.
Renner burial place is listed on GNIS, but is not included on the map prepared by Des Moines County.
