Dry Branch Cemetery is where the Burnett-Wallen records at the Burlington library report the burials of Sophia A. (Myers) Brumm (died 15 May 1920) and Phillip Brumm (died 21 Jun 1920). Since Meyers Family Cemetery is near Dry Branch Creek along Y Camp Road one would be inclined to say Dry Branch Cemetery is an alternative name for Meyers Family Cemetery. No stones for the Brumms are currently in Meyers Family Cemetery. In the obituaries for the Brumms supplied by Lesley Saint, Dry Branch Cemetery was reported as being five miles north of Burlington. Meyers Family Cemetery is not that far from Burlington and Dry Branch Creek goes as far north as Benton Township. We need more information about Dry Branch Cemetery. |
