GALLAHER / ZION CEMETERY
(aka Gallagher Cemetery or Fleenor Cemetery)
This cemetery is the resting place of George Gallaher who died April 10, 1842, age 41y 5m 22d. The photo of his gravestone isn't clear enough to read, but a plaque later attached to it is. "The name on this stone was misspelled in 1842 and should have been spelled 'Gallaher.' The Ben Gallaher Family Reunion July 1993."

| I believe this entry is in error and should be for Mary Ann Portlock Fleenor, wife of Hiram Fleenor, 17 May 1827–1854. They were married in Des Moines Co. and appear in the census records. I found no records of a Hiram Portlock with a wife, Mary Ann. RH |
