The Freitag Cemetery was beside the German Evangelical church in Benton Township, section 30. This photo is from 7 December 1946. The church is no longer standing.
Directions: From Burlington, from the intersection of Sunnyside Ave. and
Roosevelt Ave./US 61, take US 61 North for 1.8 miles to Upper Flint Rd., turn
right, then go 1.1 miles to Irish Ridge Rd., turn left, then go 4.4 miles to
160th St., turn left, go .1 miles, the cemetery is on the right side of 160th
St.
