Added 100+ new "marriages over 100 years old".
Added new tombstone photos to the Kossuth Cemetery transcription page. Kossuth Cemetery was founded by a Polish family who lived in Yellow Springs Township. Kossuth County, Iowa was also named in honor of this founding family.
February
Updated family photos and added new photos of people and places.
Added new obits in four categories. Working on several images being transcribed into text for search ability. Moving board obits to boards and copies of some documents to docs.

Census files....added 1836 Territorial census
November:
Updating images of the "intent to become a citizen" database by transcribing surnames so they can be found by search engines.
Emigrants once settled in went to Burlington and completed a form to indicate an intent to become a US citizen. These images list names from all over Europe, but are curiously loaded with dozens of German surnames.
October:
Instituted "Old photo of the month" on the front page, The photos rotate with a new one each month.
September:
Many new photographs added to the photoproject.
Each month on our front page we will display a new photo of the month.
July:
1930 WPA Gravestone Registry for Iowa Many graves listed here no longer exist. This is a link to the IAGenWeb cemeteries project currently being transcribed.

DES MOINES COUNTY GEN SOCIETY, PO BOX 493, BURLINGTON, IA 52601-0493 has providing film of old cemetery transcriptions which will be formatted for display on the DesMoines County Tombstone Project.
