MARSHALL D. WILLIAMSON, son of E.J. and J.J. WILLIAMSON, was born in Greene County, Iowa, October 30, l885 and died at his home, 6 miles east of Leon of heart failure, December 24, l899, aged l4 years, l month and 25 days. MARSHALL was by nature a very affectionate child and an unusually bright, intelligent boy, a general favorite and those who knew him best loved him most.

He was converted October 26, l899, at a series of special meetings held at Mount Tabor by Evangelists, Mr. and Mrs. Elder. From that time he lived a devoted, Christian life often testifying to the fullness of God's love. His last words on earth were "Praise God." He leaves a father, mother, four sisters and one brother to mourn his early death. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord."
