ORPHA ALVINA GORE was born in Scottsville, KY., January 2lst, l85l. She died in David City yesterday, May l5th of dropsy. She leaves a husband, JOHN TURPIN, and two children to mourn her loss.

A short funeral service was held at her home by Rev. Rusk, on Wednesday afternoon, and she was laid to rest in the Gore Cemetery east of town.
