TAPSCOTT - Hattie M. THROCKMORTON was born in Clarke county, Iowa, February 17, 1867, died at her home near Mercer, Mo., April 28, 1905, aged 38 years, 2 months and 11 days. When a small child she moved with her parents to Decatur county, and resided there until two years ago, when the family moved to Missouri. She was converted and joined the Methodist Church when a young girl, and in this faith she died. She was married to Charles B. TAPSCOTT, in 1886, and to this union was born seven children, two of whom died in infancy. She was loved by all who knew her, and left a husband, five children, on brother and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral was held at the home, the sermon being preached by Rev. WATSON. The remains were laid to rest in the Lowry cemetery to await the resurrection morn.
