SUZIE MAE TONEY

Suzie Mae Turpin was born in Decatur County, near Lamoni, Iowa, on April 30,

1906, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin Turpin. She departed this life

at the age of 61 years, eight months and three days at the Decatur County

hospital, Leon, Iowa, on Jan. 4, 1968.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father. She was baptized in the

Church of Christ and lived as a good Christian all her life. On Dec. 14,

1952, she was united in marriage to William Toney.

She leaves to mourn her death her husband, William; a brother, Earl Turpin

of near Davis City; a half, sister, Ethel Melton; and two half brothers,

Everett Mitchell and Dave Mitchell of Lamoni, Iowa. Mae will be greatly

missed by her husband, relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. at Stewart's Funeral

home in Lamoni with Elders Morton Edmunds and William Ballantyne in charge.

Interment was in Lillie cemetery.
